Role
Lucky VR is looking for a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the company’s financial and accounting strategy, as well as having a hand in budget control and forecasting for individual teams and projects.
Responsibilities
- Management of the accounting, and financial planning for the Company
- Responsible for all reporting including compilation of financial statements
- Innovate and drive improvements to our financial processes and performance
- Responsible for monthly reporting and payroll with ~200 personnel
- Responsible for quarterly forecasting and the annual budget process, both at studio and project level
- Responsible for analysis of platform & in game revenue
- Budget control, monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting
Requirements
- Recognized accounting qualification
- 3+ years of experience at an accounting firm and / or at an early stage technology company is an asset
- Analytical and strategic thinking – ability to think outside the box
- Strong ability to drive change, take the initiative and work towards shared goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and a great communicator
- Highly organized and able to manage conflicting priorities
- Management experience
- Proven experience in leading strategic changes with successful results
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Xero, Wagepoint, Humi and Deel are an asset
