Prepare QA & Automation Testing Documentation:
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Document testing procedures for planning, design, execution, and sustainability.
- Maintain up-to-date test documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop Automation Test Plans:
- Collaborate with the QA team and development team to understand project requirements.
- Define and develop automation test plans that align with project goals and quality standards.

Develop and Execute Automated Test Scripts:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Utilize various automation technologies, test harnesses, and SQL scripts as needed.
- Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

Test Automation Framework:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of an efficient and scalable test automation framework.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the test automation process and reduce manual testing efforts.

Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Identify and report software defects, ensuring they are properly documented and tracked.
- Work closely with the development team to assist in the resolution of identified issues.
- ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or above) is required.
- Strong expertise in test automation using Java and Selenium.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining test scripts, test plans, and documentation.
- Familiarity with various automation tools and technologies.
- Experience with SQL scripting for database testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Candidates must be based in South Africa (Only).
- Primarily work from home but candidates must be prepared to be in the office when required.
- 12 months initial contract to extend.
- Rate is negotiable depending on experience and current remuneration.
