What we are looking for
We are looking for a Game QA Tester to join our team at Drest Ltd.. Our QA team is the gatekeeper of our releases and as such it has a remarkable eye for detail. Its team members are a resourceful crew that works tirelessly to ensure our quality standards are met at all times.
Reporting to the Lead QA and in collaboration with your peers, you’ll be testing our game, finding and documenting bugs, and making sure issues are highlighted as soon as they can be. As part of an embedded QA team, you will support your teammates whether they’re game designers, UI/UX designers or engineers to drive and support the quality of Drest.
Diligent, driven and self-disciplined you have solid communication skills and will put yourself in the shoes of our users to flag issues in testing before those are experienced by our live players.

What you will do..
- Test our game (exploratory, functional, usability, compatibility, compliance, performance, or other types of testing as required)
- Identify and produce high quality bug reports to enable easier bug fixing down the line
- Contribute, maintain and improve the test suite as well as the QA documentation
- Assist the Lead QA in duties e.g. bugs, prioritisation, reporting etc
- Suggest debug functionalities and other tooling support that the team would benefit from
- Proactively collaborate with all team members to continuously improve our practices
What you will bring..
- Experience as a mobile game tester
- Analytical mindset and troubleshooting skills with high attention to details
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and instructions
- Knowledge of QA processes and testing terminology
- Familiarity with mobile software/games development lifecycles and methodologies
- Proficiency in reviewing and writing test cases
- Working experience with industry-standard bug reporting software such as JIRA
- Excellent communication skills – you are clear and concise
- Awareness of the mobile game market and its challenges
- Collaborative attitude with good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A growth mindset, you are eager to learn and constantly aim at outperforming yourself
- Passionate gamer
Bonus points if you have..
- F2P LiveOps experience
- Familiarity with Unity
- Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
- Experience working with TestRail
- Ability to diagnose and identify issues in data, code and scripting information
- Familiarity with source control solutions such as GIT
- Understanding of client/server testing
- Localization Quality Assurance exposure
- Good verbal and written skills in any additional languages among these would be highly advantageous: EFIGS, Cantonese, Russian, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese
