Business Development Representative


Role Summary

Hiring for a Senior Business Development Rep who will work with their Account Executive to penetrate enterprise level accounts in direct-to-consumer markets using a mix of cold outreach and following up on inbound interest.

 

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the North American sales team to create and prioritize strategic target account lists
  • Researching and profiling new and existing accounts, with a particular focus on identifying and building out relevant contacts within them
  • Planning and executing an outbound business development plan to generate new business opportunities
  • Conducting high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts to articulate the value Redpoint can offer
  • Responding to and qualifying incoming web, phone & chat inquiries regarding Redpoint’s solutions
  • Nurturing and qualifying marketing leads from webinars, events and campaigns.
  • Running initial calls and asking the right questions to qualify prospects for opportunities

Requirements

  • A demonstrable track record of over-achieving against defined metrics (top 10-20%).
  • At least 1 year of business development experience (prospecting and evangelizing) in the MarTech space
  • Experience with territory planning, building accounts, prospecting & cold calling.
  • Experience working with enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Passion for new business generation and have a self-starting attitude.
  • Creative and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a consistently high level of output whilst managing competing priorities.
  • Experience in working in a start-up type organization and possess the ability to work autonomously/remotely, whilst being responsive & reliable
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Drift, Sales Navigator & other demand generation technologies.
  • Experience with social selling and storytelling.

Experience working in the CDP & Journey Orchestration space will separate you from other candidates.

 

Salary Range $55,000-70,000 depending on experience, plus commission
