Position Summary:
The position will collaborate cross-departmentally regarding the business requirements for tracking and credentialing trainees for the general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties initial certifying examinations to the Information Technology (IT) Department. The Technical Administrator will assist with the work requirements for IT continual development and communicate online tracking system enhancements. This person serves as CIC’s business owner.
This position will assist with risk management and serves as the department liaison to spearhead the Credentialing and Initial Certification (CIC) projects. This person assists IT in creating an accurate timeline for the completion of CIC projects to ensure tasks are finished within the confines of an Agile project schedule. This position assists the CIC Operations Director with the business’ end user testing acceptance (UAT) and audits initial certification reports for data accuracy to ensure quality assurance (QA) standards and business requirements are adhered to.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works with CIC staff and IT Project Managers to ensure current processes adhere to business requirements for tracking and credentialing trainees and standard best practices.
Consults with CIC to gather information about business needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements, to refine, test, and debug ABP programs regarding the tracking and credentialing of trainees; communicate to IT the department’s business needs.
Performs and coordinates usability and UAT for initial certifying registrations and the integration of new functionality on existing systems used by CIC.
Ensures modifications to the initial certification content to the ABP website are provided to Communication and UAT is performed.
Assist with maintaining and writing technical documentation to describe Program Portal enhancements, business logic, user test outcomes, modifications, and business decisions.
Serves as a resource to create and track CIC project/process issues in ABP’s tracking system.
Uses ABP systems to document and track business milestones for CIC strategic projects.
Assist with planning and developing CIC strategic project ideas and timelines under the direction of the Executive Vice President.
Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree. Background in computer science or IT-related training and experience is preferred but not required.
Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred but not required.
Minimum of five years of general office experience and working in a team-oriented environment
Software Testing Quality Assurance
Technical writing experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Technology skills; proficiency in multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite; ability to adapt to new business systems.
