Senior Healthcare Data Quality Analyst
As a Senior Healthcare Data Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating healthcare claims data sets on various dimensions of data quality such as accuracy, completeness, and duplication of data. You will analyze the scope of the issue, resolve data quality issues, and recommend procedures or best practices to prevent reoccurrence. You will manage data in a relational database environment, performing analysis, including pattern analysis, of health care activities and projects. You will assist with complex data loads, queries, stored procedures, and processes, and maintain data integrity within the database.
Essential Functions
Execute and analyze SQL programs and queries.
Load and manage large data files into a relational database.
Assess processes and data to identify practical solutions.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements/SLA requirements.
Lead and coordinate research data inquiries and work with database developers for optimization.
Lead team members in planning, designing, and performing data and pattern analysis of specific health care activities or projects.
May provide consultation to team members and committees.
Stay abreast of statistical technology and methods.
Create and maintain documentation to support data management activities.
Create and manage User Stories through Jira to track tasks and projects.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience using SQL
3-5 years in data analysis or design of analytical reports
Four-year degree in statistics, mathematics, Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience with Data Warehouse data mapping and problem solving
Experience analyzing healthcare claims data
Preferred experience with two or more of the following: SQL Server, Redshift or Postgres
Preferred experience working with healthcare code sets and membership files
