Overview:
IT Site Readiness Engineer
The role of the IT Site Readiness Engineer is to oversee the details of preparing sites operated by Forefront Dermatology and making certain they are ready and functioning for peak performance at Go Live for that site. This position involves collaborating with other IT team members, Departments within Forefront, and outside vendors to achieve outcomes that meet or surpass the needs of the site and stakeholders while adhering to Forefront’s security, HIPAA, and compliance policies and quality standards.
As an IT Site Readiness Engineer, you are expected to travel to ensure completion and quality of projects and be a representative for the IT Dept to the site and its staff.

Administer thorough assessments of newly acquired locations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a site readiness plan. The site readiness plan consists of removal of legacy equipment, installation of new equipment, hiring and supervision of third-party vendors for wiring and equipment installs, managing the equipment ordering and delivery process, planning for continued access to legacy systems and files when applicable, and ensuring compliance and security throughout the process.
Carry out the site readiness plan in a timely manner and ensure quality checks are complete.
Provide excellent Customer Support through professionalism, respect, and seeking to understand the needs of the site and staff.
Be the point person between the site stakeholders, IT, other Forefront Departments, and third-party vendors.
Provide continued IT support for all Forefront facilities both onsite and remotely working in conjunction with Help Desk and other IT teams.
Participate in routine and “as needed” upgrades to IT equipment and infrastructure.
Assist in training Forefront employees as needed on IT systems and equipment.
Continually evaluate processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records in inventory and other organizational tools.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for IT Site Readiness Engineer
Associate degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of experience with deploying and maintaining IT Network Infrastructure or IT project management.
Certifications in Networking, Network Administration, Project Management, Network Security, and ITIL are a plus.
Experience with O365, Citrix, Cisco, Meraki, Active Directory, Jira, and Confluence are a plus.
Be willing to travel out of state up to 50% of the time and occasionally on short notice.
