Summary of Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst will transform YoungWilliams data into actionable reporting by using a toolkit of best practices and instincts to bring data driven models to life. This position will work to standardize and automate existing reports and dashboards in addition to designing smart, simple to understand business reporting for our leadership team.

Essential Job Requirements
Standardizes and automates existing reports and dashboards
Designs smart, simple to understand business reporting for leadership team
Designs, develops and test solutions involving databases, SQL queries and other data at an expert level
Works with Senior Management and IT team to establish good reporting practices and metrics in order to drive data adoption across organization.
Builds new reports, determines project requirements and supports decision make for all business functions
Creates documentation so the data are easily understood, by communicating observed needs for new reports, and aids in the rollout of those reports.
Conducts routine data audits to ensure reporting quality standards are upheld.
Travels to YoungWilliams offices to observe, ask questions and prepare feedback for improving operations and technology
Conducts research and analysis throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required
Data analytics training or related certifications preferred

Required Experience
One to three years of experience in an analytics or similar role
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Proficiency in Excel
Basic knowledge of SQL
Experience with operations reporting, such as in contact centers or workflow-dependent workplaces is preferred
Knowledge of contact center data in NICE CXone, HR data from ADP, or experience working with data from a tool like Dynamics 365 or Salesforce is a plus
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, dedicated SQL Pools, Azure SQL Database, or other cloud computing and storage tools is preferred
Ability to conceptualize complex data structures
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff
Critical thinking skills to translate sometimes ambiguous business needs into effective solutions .
