As a proposal writer at Objectstream, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, persuasive, and compelling proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential customers. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple internal teams, including executives, business development, technical teams, and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to consistently deliver complete packages in a deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate with sales and subject matter experts to understand client needs, objectives, and requirements for each proposal
- Conduct thorough research to gather information necessary for proposal development, from both the requirements and outside sources
- Write and edit persuasive and articulate proposal content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency
- Develop proposal outlines, templates, and other supporting documents
- Incorporate industry best practices and tailor proposals to specific client needs
- Review and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, grammar, clean formatting, and overall quality
- Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content, past submissions, and success metrics for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the proposal team to streamline and enhance the proposal development process
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3 years of proposal writing experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively proofread and edit content
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements
- Knowledge of federal procurement regulations a plus
